Two-ish days to go!!!

We have our Twilight t-shirts!!! Muahaha, go team Jasper!!

Effie found an early review from the portland oregon preview and it is quite awesome. It makes me very optimistic. I think I might have to see twilight more than once. It's unlikely that it has been sold out. So that might actually be possible. Right now, I'm trolling the internet to see if an early copy was made form one of the previews. I know... it's horrible, but I'M DESPERATE!!!

Check out my shirt shop. The link is on the right hand side of my page.

Let's go fly a kite (or climb a tree as the case may be), up to the highest heights

I just spent an hour climbing a tree. It was so fun. There's a red maple right outside of the dorm and Effie and I started taking pictures. Next thing I knew, I was way up in the tree. Effie followed, of course, and we had a grand time of it.

Good times, good times.

I'm thinking about starting a new journal for college. Not an online journal but an actual journal. The one Krieg bought me would be awesome for it. It's bound in green leather that's stamped with celtic knots and crosses.
I think now is a good time for a nap. Though, I should probably says something about our new president elect. Obama. Well, I fulfilled that quota...... No, seriously, I like Obama. I like McCain too, but I think it's time we had another democratic president. America works out nicely because we vacillate back and forth between being closer to a free market and then closer to a command economy.

My pillow smells good. Mmmmmmmm.....nap.

I'm off.

Fall Fest

Well, the fall fest thing went alright last night. We sold some stuff, but we didn't sell all of anything. There were other baked good stands and a hot chocolate vendor that I didn't know were going to be there. Still, we made some money and got a few pictures and reviews for our project. I had a lot of fun too. They played the batman theme song, thriller, and the nutcracker song. There was a horrible portion where the dj person ran off and the same techno song kept playing over and over.

So if you want some of the best lemonade ever made, it's only $2 a bottle.

Now that my shameless propaganda is over, I'm gonna go read some blogs.

English Paper

So, I have to have a rough draft of my paper tomorrow. blarg. At least I don't have to be in a class until twelve. Still, my piano class is becoming steadily more difficult. Seriously, I have never before been taught to play the piano. Perhaps I shouldn't be attempting to do sight reading and other such forms of unnecessary torture. I really like playing the piano, though.

I also have a recital rehearsal thing tomorrow. *sigh* This week is not conducive to good playing. I burned the crap out of my finger putting up halloween decorations. Whatever. I shall endure.

I wish for sleep now.

Not Much Happening Here

Well, my fanfic has gotten 1,001 hits now, which is pretty cool! Other than that, nothing's going on. Actually, I have tons of homework I'm procrastinating on for a day. Really, I need a day off at least.

I'm playing at the student recital this Friday. That's mostly what I have to go practice for, but I also have to work on my repertoire pieces for piano class. Blarg!

I did watch Robinson Crusoe on tv last night. Aside from being almost entirely impractical, the show is really good. I think I might actually get around to reading the book now. Lol. All of the flashbacks annoy my dad. He kept talking to the tv, telling them to stop daydreaming while they're being shot at.

Anywho, I'm off to waste time by taking meaningless online quizzes. Who knows, maybe I'll find out what color my aura is or some crap.

lol. Later.

Movies

Not much going on here. Max Payne is coming out on Friday, though. I think I'll go see it with my brother. I'm almost through with the next chapter of my story, but it's hard to find time to write while school is in. I finished two and a half chapters during fall break.

Well, I'm gonna go check my email and then make a new and awesome playlist.

Sight Singing, {Oh joy!}

Well, I just made a 100 on my sight singing test, which is pretty cool. It didn't go perfectly, but hey, it was good enough for him, I guess. Well, for now. He told me to practice more. He also said I have relative perfect pitch... sure. Even if I did, it doesn't help if I don't know how to use it.

I'm also about to take a computer quiz. I'm totally gonna get a hundred...or I better. Bah! I've taken the practice quiz about a billion times. The weird thing is that I like it. Computer class is my favorite (and I'm not just saying that because my teacher is supposed to read this). I like knowing EXACTLY what I need to know. So, in conclusion, I'm a freak for liking quizzes.

Ooh, I am going to start work on my fanfiction again. (Please, don't shoot me if I don't. You know how I am.)So, I'm gonna go read Dark Demon for some inspiration or whatever.

Blarg!

So, last week was not so pleasant. Whatever. It turns out that we cannot sell lemonade because there is another person already doing that for the sorghum festival. We're going to try and do snow cones or hot cocoa along with baked goods.

Well, Fringe is on. I'll go watch that and then do some crappy homework...

*sigh*

Heart of Hearts

I finished reading Brisingr late this Saturday night. I shall tell you that is sad and awesome at the same time... and that the title of this blog relates to it in a way that I shall not disclose for fear of ruining the book for you. Anyway, it seems as if, yet again, events unforeseen will stall my trip to Ireland. Blarg! So, I'm going to try and take a trip this spring break with the school. Probably the London trip with the division of fine arts though the Greece trip looks enticing. I missed a deadline and would have to pay a bit more for the Greece trip, though. There's also a trip to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam that is appealing. I have no idea what department it is with or if you have to be taking one of their classes to go.

It shall work out given time. Closer on the horizon, I'm thinking about just taking off on a solo camping trip for fall break. I've always wanted to just head off into the woods around my house, and I think I will do it. Maybe I'll take my bow and get in a few good hours of archery practice. I'm sadly rusty. I meant to practice a while this weekend but I got caught up in my many novels.

I'm gonna go blog on my other blog and what not.

Lions and Tigers and... Dragons?

Well, I finally reread Eragon. I forgot that it's actually a good book despite its movie. Sadly, I forgot the golden rule, "Don't judge a book by its movie." Anyway, I tore through it and I'm almost through with eldest... I must remember to check if the next book is out yet. I was supposed to pre-order it but.....yeah, that went the way of Breaking Dawn. Anywho, I'm off to covort with my friends who have followed me to the library before we go off to the concert that's going on tonight.

Homework time

I'm putting some links up to my different playlists. I actually just made one of them that has nothing but a maroon five cd on it because I'm writing a paper about a musical experience and their cd is my feature topic.

Essays, blarg.

I have to buy another book at a whopping $90-ish. It's for my Aural skills class which I had a test in today. Half of it was really easy and the other half was...not. It takes some super skills to able to hear an interval and know what it is every time. I've never done that before and a lot of other people have. I guess it's pretty fair considering I'm one of only two people who have written key signatures and named them and stuff before, though. I still got seventy percent the first time I tried intervals so I'm pretty happy.

Thankfully Mr. Fox, my computer teacher, moved his test back to next week or my head would have exploded from taking back to back tests.

Well, I'll go put those playlist links up now.

Alrighty, my computer class...again

As you may notice, this is a repeat of the last entry from my other blog. This blog is actually the one for my class. So, yeah...

Hey guys,

I know it's been a bit since I've written, but hey! Guess what! For extra credit in my computer class, I'm going to be posting on the blog every week. Pretty sweet when I get credit for a blog.

Anyway, not much else happening right now. My life is rife with homework, books, and movies. The library here has some really good movies that we can check out. Needless to say, Effie and I have already befriended the library ladies. We also integrated ourselves as the editors of the literary magazine... I wonder how that will go. We're still waiting to see if anyone else wants to join before we put up flyers for submissions. I should probably suggest flyers FOR getting people to join. Seriously...who is going to know about the literary magazine besides crazies like us?

Well, it's lunch time right now. I'm gonna go grab some food before I have to go practice my flute and piano and junk...
